The Innovation & Trading Company “Medmark”, LLC, was established in 1992. The core activities include design, patenting, and implementation of projects aimed at human health support.

The company holds multiple patents in the field of food industry and medicine.

The Innovation & Trading Company “Medmark” currently focuses in the following three main areas:

1. Production of formulation ingredients for the distillery industry, which improve alcoholic drinks taste and reduce toxic properties of ethyl alcohol.

2. Development of vodka formulations with a low level of toxicity. In cooperation with the Russian Research & Development Institute of Food Biotechnology, the “Medmark” company formulated a variety of vodkas with a low level of toxicity, which fundamentally differ from traditional vodkas by the level of toxicity.

3. Establishment of safety management systems based on the HAССP principles for distilleries and other food industry companies.

In cooperation with the Institute of Toxicology, Saint Petersburg, the Innovation & Trading Company “Medmark” is a co-developer of the Vodkas Toxic Safety Standards and a developer of the Clean Vodkas Standard within the Voluntary Certification System “ALCOLUX” (certification authority: Testing Laboratory of Technical & Chemical Control and Referee Analytical Methods of Russian Research & Development Institute of Food Biotechnology, coordinating body of the Innovation & Trading Company “Medmark”).

The company is an active participant of industry conferences, seminars, and research projects. It cooperates with the leading industry companies: the Russian Research & Development Institute of Food Biotechnology, the Federal Research Center of Nutrition and Biotechnologies, the Institute of Toxicology, the Scientific Research Institute “Mir-Prodmash”, Sverdlovsk Medical Research Center, etc., which allows to receive up-to-date information and better understand challenges and prospects of the distillery industry.

The “Medmark” company is a developer of the absolutely unique data base of formulation ingredients for the distillery industry, which contains information about the effect of each recipe ingredient on the toxicity of ethyl alcohol. Specifically for the project, the Screening Expert Program “Ingredient-Expert” was developed – It allows scientists' knowledge and experience to be used in the course of formulation of alcoholic drinks.
